Lok Bhavan
Lok Bhavan, the Official Residence of the Governor of Tamil Nadu is located in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. Lok Bhavan includes official residence of the Governor, Offices of Lok Bhavan and the quarters of Officers and Staff.
Lok Bhavan comprises a series of architecturally unique buildings with a spacious Bharathiar Mandapam and verdant lawns where State Functions, Official Functions and meetings are held; and, Suites for VVIPs namely the President of India, the Vice President of India and the Prime Minister of India and other important Dignitaries.
Another Official residence of the Governor is located at Udhagamandalam (Ooty) with verdant greenery, blooming flowers and architecturally palatial buildings with a splendid Banquet Hall and artefacts.
